Science road show

On Thursday 20 second of may we  walked down to tamaki college to see the science road show and we all were  being told about science and talking about  different kind of air. Like carbon dioxide and nitrogen and also methane. The scary bit of the science road was when they blew up the balloon and pop it loud and vibrated my chest.

Then after they taught us  about science we went off to see all of the other experiments and out of all of the science experiments was the heat sensor and the honey tasting. Then they called us back and we had to sit down.

Then they told us about some more science stuff then came out  a disgusting thing was a plastic stomach and then they teaching us about what it does and at the end the most disgusting out of all of them was poo and they said this is what you'll have in one day and it was small and the poo came out a big pile of poo came and they said the will be how much you will have a mouth.

Echolocation Explanation

Echolocation is remarkable how they talk then when it hits an object it rebounds back to other animals that use echolocation. They cannot see and how they use the sound or the vibration to guide the promptly so they can avoid obstacles that's coming to them. There are lots of animals that use echolocation  for example Bats, Dolphins, Whales, Porpoises and Rats.

Echolocation starts from the  throat then threw there your vocal cords  and it reflects off a smooth surface and that's how they talk to each other. Some animals that use echolocation are blind but not every animal that uses it. Not just animals use echolocation  there are lots of thing that use it like submarines, people and insects.

Echolocation is an amazing thing to use even when you're blind and that when you use echolocation  it will  help  you when you  cannot see where you're going  and crashing in to objects it will help you guide your way better.

Calvin Sound explanation.

For inquiry,  this term we are learning about sound.   It performs  in sound wavs. Thats  how it moves back a forward hitting the air molecules.

  • Which pitch is faster?  Out of a high pitch or an low pitch if you're thinking high pitch or low pitch your wrong it is actually the same. They travel 360 metres per second  for anybody interested. The Pitch is determined by vibration frequency. A guitar string vibrating at 440 PER SECOND.

The outer ear channels sound waves into your inner ear which vibrates your eardrum  and sends a message to your brain. That your brain will say that know.

If the world had no sound we wouldn't be in school or we wouldn't have anything to do with learning or with cars . The world is with people talking but if we had no sound that’s mean’s the wont communicate each other or they will be  not good because  they want have a experience what the world will be like if they have sound.
